Wildfire smoke emits large amounts of one particulate and trace gases into the atmosphere. The smoke generated can travel great distances and last for weeks. A wide variety of airbourne pollutants released by wildfire smoke include CO2 (carbon dioxide), CH4 (methane), N2O (nitrous oxide), VOCs, and many more.
CarbonWeb® 90 (CW90) bulk carbon media rolls are constructed with 970 gsm of 60 CTC High Activity Carbon to mitigate wildfire smoke entering building HVAC systems.
CW90 is designed to allow suffcient airfow while carbon granules remove or mitigate unwanted odors. It is specifically designed to cover building air intake ducts for short term relief from noxious wildfire smoke events.
Can also be installed upstream of existing particulate air filters
